Description

After enabling AI Search (glide.ui.polaris.ais_ready) in Next Experience, global search for a record freezes or does not load.  The URL will change but nothing else will happen.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ensure your instance is AI Search enabled (glide.ui.polaris.ais_ready) and AI Search Status is Ready
  2. Search for task (ie: any Incident) and click the exact match.
  3. Perform another search for additional task and select the exact match.  The UI should become unresponsive.

Workaround

This only occurs during the first search.  Searching a second time or refreshing the page opens the record. 

If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
