Description
After enabling AI Search (glide.ui.polaris.ais_ready) in Next Experience, global search for a record freezes or does not load. The URL will change but nothing else will happen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure your instance is AI Search enabled (glide.ui.polaris.ais_ready) and AI Search Status is Ready
- Search for task (ie: any Incident) and click the exact match.
- Perform another search for additional task and select the exact match. The UI should become unresponsive.
Workaround
This only occurs during the first search. Searching a second time or refreshing the page opens the record.
If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
