As of January 14, 2020 Microsoft announced an end of support for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2. Please visit the Microsoft site for additional information on how to migrate to current versions. Since Vendors of Windows 2008, CentOS 6, and Ubuntu 14 have ended the support, we encourage the customers to migrate to later systems available for MID Server installations and upgrades. Note: What action to take: Transition to a supported server and system before your upgrade to Rome or any subsequent release post-September 2021. Auto upgrade for 32-bit MID server on 64-bit OS will be supported. New installation of 32-bit MID server on 64-bit systems is not supported. Installation of 64-bit MID server will be aborted on 32-bit system with error message.
