KB Summary by Now Assist

Issue

In the GRC policy exception record, the approval is sent to the "Requestor's Manager" when you click the "Request Owner Approval" button.
Now, you will be able to see an info message at the top and the state is moved to "Awaiting Approval" meanwhile the approval is sent to the "Requestor's Manager".

Message: "Approval request is sent to control owners and requester's manager"

Cause

We have the approvals for the requester's manager and control owners with app v 10.1.2 in Paris
It was the "Generate final approvals for policy exception" flow that was creating the additional approvals.

Resolution

Generate final approvals for policy exception
https://<instancename>.service-now.com/$flow-designer.do#/flow-designer/0af288c85bb3001065ea12300a81c76a
We confirmed that this flow was present on Paris instance but not on NY instance and is expected OOB behavior.
