Description

Paris: Some Windows Credential form Views are broken by the UI Policy for the new Use MID Server Account field.

The browser javascript console will show this error onLoad:
Uncaught ReferenceError: Windows_Credential_Domain_Annotation is not defined

These views are broken (and possibly others):
Accelerator
Accelerator External Storage
External Storage

These Work:
(default)
Discovery

Steps to Reproduce

In a Paris instance:

  1. Install External Credential Store plugin.  This will cause the instance to default to the External Credential view.
  2. Open a Windows Credential record.
  3. The form will load in external_credential_storage form view.
    https://<instance_name>.service-now.com/windows_credentials.do?sys_id=<sys_id>&sysparm_view=external_credential_storage

You can also cause the same issue by switching to a broken view.

You will see this error in the browser console:

Uncaught ReferenceError: Windows_Credential_Domain_Annotation is not defined

The form is now broken, with the usual symptoms. Any actions done to the form probably will not work, such as submitting changes and right clicking the header.

Workaround

This problem is currently under review. You can contact ServiceNow Technical Support or subscribe to this Known Error article by clicking the Subscribe button at the top right of this form to be notified when more information will become available.

As a workaround, you can use the default view for the form, or make changes from a List instead. The hamburger icon does still allow changing the view even on broken forms.
