The value of "Cancelled" in english language is inconsistent across different tables in the instance.
For some tables the value is "canceled" and for others is "cancelled".
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to any OOB instance
- Go to Choice lists
- Filter for values starting with "cancel"
- You will see inconsistencies in the english language
After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or future releases. We do not make this decision lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions regarding this problem, contact ServiceNow Customer Support.
As a workaround for now, you can change manually the value field of the choices records and align it to the version you prefer.
