Understand the Discovery Methods module in ServiceNow Threat Intelligence

The ServiceNow Threat Intelligence application includes a Discovery Methods module located in the Administration menu. This module contains sample records in the Discovery Method table [sn_ti_discovery_method]. This article explains the table's original purpose and current status.

The Discovery Method table [sn_ti_discovery_method] serves a specific but currently unused purpose.

The table was originally built to support STIX (Structured Threat Information Expression)

The Discovery Methods module is not actively used in current implementations. Administrators can safely hide this module without affecting system functionality.
