How to attach a KB link through the attach button to a different field than the additional comments field in an incident?

Resolution

  1. Filter Navigate to: Contextual Search > Table configuration
  2. Select the record where:
    • Name = incidents
    • UI Type = Platform
  3. In the related list Search Action Configuration open the record where
    • Action label = Attach
  4. Check Use Custom Field for attach note
  5. Set attach note field to "work_note"
