"Affected CI" related list on knowledge form doesn't show New and Edit option for itil users

Resolution

Expected Out of the box behavior:

The related list "Affected CI" doesn't show "New" and "Edit" ui action for itil users. The relationship is defined under m2m_kb_ci table.
https://<instance name>.service-now.com/m2m_kb_ci_list.do

itil users not meant to add the affected CI from the related list. We do not have option to add new and edit button on affected CI related list on knowledge form.
