In early New York, during a fast patch upgrade with no major release changes, files are being skipped for evaluation. This may cause to not write the base version for customized records. The unchanged content is calculated after the patch is done, and skipped content is marked as UnChanged instead of Skipped. Missing base versions make impossible to revert to base code.
Steps to Reproduce
- Login a pre New York Patch 4 instance.
2. Customize some records.
3. Validated you have a base version for the customized records.
4. Upgrade the instance to a later Patch until 4. No base versions will be present as part of the upgrade for customized records.
When trying to resolve skipped records, clicking on "Revert to Base version" generates the message:
"Your update version entry cannot be reverted because no base system version was found for upgrade glide-newyork-...".
This problem has been fixed in New York Patch 5 and further. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
To attempt a workaround, repair the plugins related to the affected records to re-install their base versions.
