Description

When trying to validate a field using ON operator with Date/Time GEM variables then the comparison is not done correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a parameterized ATF test.
  2. Create a single 'date/time' parameter.
  3. Create a single parameter set and assign a date.
  4. Add the following test steps:
    1. Open a New Form: 'Incident'
    2. Set Field Values: 'Resolved' to the date parameter
    3. Field Values Validation: 'Resolved' is on the date parameter

The step fails.

Workaround

This problem is fixed in all currently supported releases. Review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.

As a workaround, the "at or after" and "at or before" operators can be used to get the desired behavior, e.g.:

"Date is on {myDate}" is equivalent to "Date is at or after {myDate} AND Date is at or before {myDate}"
