Description

Per the following document, user can search the "contains" functionality by using %searchterm% :

Search for values that contain search-term.
https://docs.servicenow.com/csh?topicname=t_SearchAList.html&version=latest

However, in any OOB instance it returns no result with %searchterm%. User expects to see the same result when they search by *searchterm.

Steps to Reproduce

In any OOB instance,

-Go to inciden.list
- Search "for text" = *visio

Actual Beahvior: It returns INC0000006 which contains visio in the short description

-Now, search "for text" = %visio%

Actual Behavior: It returns no result.
Expected Behavior: It should return INC0000006 which contains visio in the short description

Workaround
