Summary

The following KB provides a method that a user/admin can use to track an unexpected update to a field on a record.
This can be helpful in troubleshooting in support as database logs are only kept for 4 days and it is possible that the update could have happened before the database logs can be reviewed.

Instructions

The user/admin can create a scheduled job or report that runs as frequently as the user/admin would like that sends out a notification when the unexpected update occurs on the field that is being updated. Once the notification is received, this information can be passed onto support to track how the update is occurring.
