Description

Risk Management Heat Map UI Widgets are not auto-refreshing based on interactive filter following an upgrade to Madrid.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have plugin "com.sn_risk" activated before Madrid.
  2. Upgrade to Madrid.
  3. Go to 'Risk Overview - PA Premium' dashboard.
  4. Deselect 'All' option on the interactive filter (GRC - Risk States), you will notice the heat map changes.
  5. Now select 'All' back again.

    > Expected behavior: The chart should follow the interactive filter and come back to the original format.

    > Actual behavior: The chart does not come back to the original format.

The following workaround can also be applied:

  1. Go to the RiskHeatmapUtils URL:
    https://<INSTANCE>.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_ui_script.do?sys_id=d61def6c672803003b63624ad585ef60

  2. Change the code for the UI Script RiskHeatmapUtils as follows:

    Update RiskHeatmapUtils UI script, and update the following code (line #20 in Out Of The Box)

    Original:

    ajaxCall.getXMLAnswer(function(answer) {
    _chart.series[0].setData(JSON.parse(answer), true);
    });

    Change:

    ajaxCall.getXMLAnswer(function(answer) {
    _chart.series[0].setData(JSON.parse(answer), true, false, false);
    _chart.redraw();
    });
