If an HTML field is set to read only from the dictionary, the field does not resize the height fully to display all contents

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new HTML field on the incident table and tick the "Read only" flag
2. Create an onchange client script with the following:

Table: Incident
UI Type: All
Field name: Category

function onChange(control, oldValue, newValue, isLoading, isTemplate) {
if (isLoading || newValue === '') {

//Type appropriate comment here, and begin script below
var longstr = ''; // put in a really long string around 500 words or over 2000 characters

if (newValue == "software") {
g_form.setValue(<name of read only HTML field>, longstr);

3. Open any incident record and change the Category to "Software"

Expected behavior: The read only HTML field should auto resize the height to display all contents

Actual behavior: The read only HTML field does not auto resize the height to display all contents. It only displays the first line of text


This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In or Intended Fix Version fields to determine whether any versions have a planned or permanent fix.
