Catalog UI policy conditions based on Date field are not working in Service Portal.  

Steps to Reproduce

1. create a new Date field (not Date/Time) on the Incident form

2. Create a UI Policy on Incident:
condition: datefield [relative] [before] [7] [days] [ago]
script to run if true: alert("date too soon");
On load: checked
UI Type (for scripts): All

3. go to /sp?id=form&t=incident&sys_id=-1

In Chrome, the alert doesn't fire on form load (as expected, since there's no value)
In Firefox, the alert shows on load (wrong)

If you add an "and" condition to the UI Policy saying datefield [is not empty], the alert *still* shows on form load in Firefox, so there isn't a practical workaround.

Unchecking "On load" makes this stop happening, of course, but that's not practical for some UI Policies that need to run on form load.


This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In or Intended Fix Version fields to determine whether any versions have a planned or permanent fix.
