Issue

[Condition Builder]: We notice changes where the "New Criteria" button gets hidden when selecting "Keyword" as one of the filter operands. This happens when developing reports and/or in Service Portal page where "Data Table from URL" widget is used, for example.

Release

Madrid

Cause

  • Up until London, we had issues with using "New Criteria" with a keyword search that used to generate invalid queries.
  • This made us to change the design of our condition builder where the "New Criteria" button is disabled when "Keywords" is used in the filter.
  • The entire intent of these changes is to prevent invalid queries from being able to be created with the condition builder.

Though our documentation in Madrid is not up-to-date, there is a documentation request in place which will soon modify/correct the respective content.
