KB Summary by Now Assist

NOW-DSC-DOMAIN_DB_SCHEMA_MISSING_PATH
SeverityError
Root CauseUnknown - although it shouldn't be possible for any table to have the sys_dictionary and database schema out of sync, there have been occasions where this has happened.
Effect

When a sys_dictionary implies that there's a column that doesn't exist in the schema, the query will execute silently. It will execute anyway, and the error will not be reported. This can lead to data leaks.

Corrective Action

Work with Customer Service to remediate the discrepancies between your dictionary and database schema.

Provide audit details to customer support, if possible:

  1. Log onto your instance.
  2. Navigate to Domain Separation Center.
  3. Select the Errors widget.
  4. Open the Check Missing Path audit record.
  5. In the bottom left, click Copy Details. The contents of the audit record will be copied onto your clipboard.
  6. Paste those details into an incident to expedite customer support's ability to assess what's wrong.
