Symptoms


When searching within a service portal that is intended only to display knowledge articles catalog items are coming up when users perform searches within the portal.

Cause


The "Catalog" field on the service portal record (sp_portal) is populated with a service catalog.

Resolution


Remove any value from the "Catalog" field on the portal record (sp_portal).
