When trying to order an order guide from the contextual search result widget, the order guide is submitted as a sc_cat_item instead of sc_cat_item_guide.
Steps to Reproduce
This is reproducible in Jakarta Patch 9 or Kingston Patch 6.
- Login an early London instance or earlier release.
- Open the Service Portal.
- Select Get Help.
- Select Create Incident.
- In the description type new hire. The New Hire order guide will appear int the search results.
- Select the order button. Note the URL is sc_cat_item instead of sc_cat_item_guide.
When submitting, the New Hire order guide is submitted as an RITM, and no items from the order guide are created. It opens the item as a catalog item instead of order guide.
This issue is fixed. There is no workaround applicable. Please review the Fixed In section to determine the latest available patch your instance can be upgraded to.
