Windows metafile images e.g. .EMF .WMF are not displaying in browsers other than Internet Explorer

Cause
Due to the limitations with other browsers eg Chrome or Safari. Windows Meta files will not render.
Resolution
Use a widely supported image format which are widely supported by browsers eg .PNG, .JPG or .GIF
