Missing fields in Available section when personalizing list

KB Summary by Now Assist

Issue

Symptoms

Missing fields in Available section when personalizing list. Certain fields from the table may not show up in the Available section for some users while the same fields can be seen for other users for the same table.

Release

All

Cause

This issue can be caused because of ACL with operation add_to_list blocking access to the fields.

If the user has read access to the field but it is still unavailable to be added to the list, please check the ACLs on the corresponding table or its parent table with operation name add_to_list.

Resolution

In order to fix this issue, you can create new ACLs with the said operation, add_to_list for the specific field on the table if only a specific field is missing.

If there is a <table>.* add_to_list ACL blocking all the fields for certain roles, you can consider modifying this ACL as well to allow access for all the fields for those roles.
