Description


The customer may enquire why the 'call' table (part of ServiceDesk module) is not extended from 'task' table.

Procedure


Our engineering team decided by design not to extend above OOB table from 'task' table. Purpose of the 'call' table is to act as a scratchpad to make notes of any interaction between two or more entities. From this [call] record the author can decide to transfer the call to an incident, problem, change or service request.
