Description

When trying to search for a date with no operators in the 'list header search' in an instance based on an Oracle database, the following error is thrown:
"General Data Exception detected by database (ORA-01843: not a valid month)"

Steps to Reproduce

1) Change the system property glide.sys.date_format to MM-dd-yyyy

2) Add a date field to incident.list (e. g. Created)

3) Search in the date field using the list header search for 07-25-2016 (/nav_to.do?uri=%2Fincident_list.do%3Fsysparm_first_row%3D1%26sysparm_query%3Dsys_created_onSTARTSWITH07-25-2016%255eGOTOsys_updated_on%253e%253d2016-07-25%2B07%253a00%253a00%26sysparm_query_encoded%3Dsys_created_onSTARTSWITH07-25-2016%255eGOTOsys_updated_on%253e%253d2016-07-25%2B07%253a00%253a00%26sysparm_view%3D)

Observe the error below showing on the top of the form after the search is completed:
General Data Exception detected by database (ORA-01843: not a valid month)

Workaround

This issue is fixed in all currently supported versions. Please review the Fixed In section to determine the latest available patch your instance can be upgraded to.

If this problem is encountered on only sys_email and sysevent tables, it may be caused by a fix script that did not run properly, leaving an attribute on those table-level dictionary entry.

Remove the attribute glide.db.oracle.ps.query=false from the records below:
/nav_to.do?uri=/sys_dictionary_list.do%3Fsysparm_query%3DattributesLIKEglide.db.oracle.ps.query%255Einternal_type.label%253DCollection%26sysparm_first_row%3D1%26sysparm_view%3D%26sysparm_choice_query_raw%3D%26sysparm_list_header_search%3Dtrue
