Description

This error is due to a change Microsoft made to their Billing API REST endpoints, and retired the endpoint we had been using.

Due to this change the ServiceNow Azure Cloud Billing function fails during the download phase, with the message:

Response code 426: Method failed: (/rest/<<Enrollment No>>/usage-report) with code: 426 

 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Cloud Management -> Cloud Admin Portal
  2. Within the portal navigate to Analyse -> Billing, then Billing Schedules tab (or go straight to /sn_cmp_billing_schedule_list.do)
  3. Open an existin Azure Billing report which had worked in the past
  4. Select Execute now and select any month.

An error message similar to the one below is returned: 

Downloading dataCannot retrieve billing data from https://ea.azure.com/rest/<<Enrollment No>>/usage-report?type=detail&month=<<YYYY-MM>>
Response code 426: Method failed: (/rest/<<Enrollment No>>/usage-report) with code: 426 

Workaround

Apply the Update Set applicable to your Instance version that is attached to this article.
