Symptoms


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Set glide.sc.sp.twostep system property to true.
2. Login with any user (User 1) who have access to any Catalog Item.
3. Go to Service Portal > Order Something > New Email Account / Any catalog Item
4. fill the required details and click on Order now.
5. In the 'Requested for' field choose a different user (user 2)and then click Checkout
6. Navigate to the same catalog item(New Email Account / Any catalog Item) in the backend by maintain Item > Search for item
7. Click on Try It
8. Fill required details
9. Click Order Now

Cause


Requested for value of logged in users DEFAULT sc_cart record was not getting changed from earlier requested for selected in Service Portal Catalog Item request.

Resolution


PRB1322402 is logged for this Issue, import attached business rule as a workaround to resolve this Issue.
