If attachment name contains any special character like '&', after attaching it converts to &amp.

This can create issues in searching attachment by name. for ex. p&c will be p&ampc so searching p&c won't work. 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Incident/Change > Open.
  2. Open a record.
  3. Attach a file where filename contains '&' in it (OR) Click 'Rename' next to the attachment name and use any special characters like '&'
  4. Filename of the attachment will change to '&'


After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or future releases.
