Can I Change the Font Size or Style in Work Notes or Additional Comments?

Users commonly ask if they can change the font style or size of the text entered into the Activity Stream fields like Work Notes or Additional Comments, especially for readability purposes.

• Text in the Activity Stream (Work Notes/Additional Comments) appears too small or hard to read
• Users want to customize the appearance of text for better visibility or style

This is known product behavior. Enhancement requests may be submitted via the Idea Portal if customization is needed in future releases.

The font and size of the Activity Stream fields are controlled by the platform's UI framework and are not currently configurable through user preferences or system settings.

Currently, there is no supported method to change the default font style or size of text in Work Notes or Additional Comments within the Activity Stream.

Recommended Workarounds

• Zoom the Browser Window:
  Users can increase the browser zoom level (e.g., press Ctrl + + or Cmd + + on Mac) to enlarge the text without affecting system configuration.
• Use Markdown for Emphasis:
  While you can't change the font or size, you can improve readability by using Markdown syntax (e.g., **bold**, *italic*, lists, etc.) when entering comments.

Note: Markdown must be applied while composing the note and will not change the underlying font or size, but can improve visual formatting.
