The page designer on service portal returns blank page, throws browser console error "Failed to instantiate module sn.$sp"

Cause


Service Portal dependency has "Include on page load" option checked.

Resolution


Find the bad dependency and uncheck Include on page load".

 

To find the dependency, in this scenario, follow the below steps.

  • look at the console error, in this example the line that says "Module 'angularMoment' is not available!". 'angularMoment' is the name of the dependency in this scenario. In your example, it would be something different.
  • Once you know the name of the dependency, go to /sp_dependecy_list.do and search for that dependency
  • Open record and uncheck "Include on page load"
