Issue

Overview

The following is the description on our product documentation of the system property com.glide.attachment.max_size (under Available system properties):

Sets the maximum file attachment size in megabytes. Leave the field empty to allow attachments up to a maximum of 1GB.
Type: integer
Default value: 1GB
Location: System Properties > Security

Clarification/Correction

By default (as mentioned), the value present in this system property is 1024, indicating 1024 Megabytes (1GB).

If the value is empty, the system will not upload attachments, each of size more than 1KB a time. There is a miscommunication on our product documentation regarding keeping the value blank/empty.

There is a document request in place to correct this information.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Additional Information

This article is focused on sharing awareness and clarity on any misunderstandings (if any) conducted by the above system property description.

Please note that this knowledge article is valid until the above mentioned description is present on our product documentation. Once the document request is processed and the necessary information is corrected on our documentation, you can ignore this article.
