Currently the reference popup view cannot be configured by default on Service Portal. The Form widget is currently configured to work with the default input.view and any configuration to this should be considered a product enhancement. This article explains how to work around this particular issue. 


  1. Go to Service Portal > Widgets
  2. Find the widget called Form
  3. Clone the Widget to make some modifications.
  4. In the clone widget, go to the Server Script of this widget and locate the following line of code: 

                   data.view = input.view;

              5. Change the input.view to point to any view of your choice.

              6. Replace the "Form" widget with your cloned version in any Service Portal page you wish the behavior to be reflected.

              7. Configure the selected view as desired.
