Some catalog items show a price changed to 0.00 depending on the sort parameter in the sc_cat_item list

KB Summary by Now Assist

Description

Some catalog items show a price as 0.00 even though the item has an actual value stored higher than 0. The value shown changes depending on the sort parameter.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Navigate to the catalog items table sc_cat_item_list.do containing demo data.
2) Apply the filter "Keywords are apple". Notice the value for 'QuickTime Pro' shows as 0.00 even though the price in the actual catalog item should be 29.99.
3) Change the row value to bring the quicktime entry to the top row. Notice the value for 'QuickTime Pro' is now 29.99.
4) Change the keyword from 'apple' to 'quicktime'. Notice the price shows correctly as 29.99 in this case too.

Workaround

After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
