Search page not refreshing results while searching for a different term

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log in to your instance
2. Navigate to "https://<yourInstance>.service-now.com/sp"
3. Search for something in the typeahead search
https://<yourInstance>.service-now.com/sp?id=search&spa=1&q=test
4. Now while on the search page search for a different term.

Expected behavior: Search results should be returned for the newly searched term

Actual behavior: Search results remain the same

Page refresh resolves the issue

Workaround

Activate Search Page route Map by following below steps:

1.Go to sp_page_route_map_list.do

Looks for "Search" route map.
Set "Active=true".
The search functionality should work fine after this.

 

Fix: The issue has been fixed in London Patch 4, so upgrading to Patch 4 will fix it.
