The base report and dataset definitions are using different settings which are not compatible.

Refer to the following chapter for the list a limitations per report type when using additional Dataset(s): Add an additional dataset to a report — Report Designer

For example:

• The base report and the datasets must be of the same type.
• For a Time Series report, the base report and the datasets must have the same 'Per' field value.
• For a Bar or Horizontal Bar report, the base report and the datasets must have the same 'Group by' value.
