Description

When setting a a list report, for example on task tables, it is sometimes possible to select the 'Questions [+]' field in the list layout. This is misleading, as it is actually not possible to report on the Question Answers variables. Reporting is only supported on service catalog variables, not on record producer variables. 

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Login an early Jakarta instance.
  2. Create a new list report on the Incident table.
  3. Open the list layout configuration showing the available columns slushbucket.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and find the Questions field. This choice should not be available in the report.

Workaround

This Question Answers variables visibility is now consistently hidden in all currently supported versions. Please review the Fixed In section to determine the latest available patch your instance can be upgraded to.
