Sometimes administrators would like to know what search terms their users are searching in order to find a Knowledge article or a catalog item so that meta tags could be provided for those records thus making the search mechanism effective and efficient.
- Go to application navigator in your instance and type service portal
- There would be a module named Log Entries.
- In the type column enter search
- Order by the count and these are the most popular terms among the users for searching.
These logs would give information only about what was search through portal /sp and not the global or catalog search.
