ITIL users cannot resolve an incidents, until the close notes and close codes are filled.

 Cause


During the latest upgrade to Kingston Patch 7, the client script: (BP) Close Mandatory on Close or Resolve, got activated. 

Resolution


The client script: (BP) Close Mandatory on Close or Resolve, has to be deactivated. 

1. On the navigation panel, type client script ----> System Definition ------> Client Script 
2. Look for and select the client script: (BP) Close Mandatory on Close or Resolve 
3. Deactivate the script and verify.
