Description

When typing in the Service Portal ticket page ( https://instance-name.service-now.com/sp?id=ticket&table=incident&sys_id={sys_id of the ticket} ), if a user types quickly and presses the "Enter" key, then the comment text gets truncated.

Steps to Reproduce

 

1. Login in a pre-London instance.

2. Open an incident through Service Portal:
sp?id=ticket&table=incident&sys_id=

3. Type quickly "hello there" and press enter.

4. Repeat steps 3 until the comment posted will be truncated.

Workaround

This problem was fixed in London. There are no workarounds available. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In or Intended Fix Version fields to determine whether any versions have a planned or permanent fix.
