Condition AssignedTo is empty

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create a Notification in sc_req_item where the condition Assigned To is empty,
  • Create a Business Rule on sc_req_item that sets AssignedTo="NULL" on before 
  • The notification contains a condition where Assigned_to is empty
  1. Open a Request item
  2. Set assigned_to Fred Luddy and Save
    • The Business Rule sets the assigned_to to NULL which causes the Problem
No Notification is sent 
 
 

Workaround

Remove assigned_to from the Notification condition and add the following on the advanced condition:
 
answer=current.assigned_to?false:true;
