Cause


  1. The values configured in alert rule conditions are case sensitive.
  2. If the string doesn't match the conditions configured on alert rule, the alert will not be processed using the alert rule

Resolution


  1. Ensure the alert rule conditions exactly match the incoming data in alert. For example, if an alert rule is configured with say 'description contains FUNNY', in the alert, the description should contain 'FUNNY' and not 'funny'
