When you click Impersonate user in a desktop instance, sometimes User IDs (user_name) of all users in the drop-down list do not appear.
Jakarta and Kingston.
Built-in code shows at least the full name of users regardless (with additional column values to render: User ID). This issue could have two possible causes, or both:
- User ID column in sys_user table has empty" values for all users.
- User ID column is not included in Mobile view list layout at sys_user table.
Check whether the sys_user table has empty values for User ID field.
For Mobile view:
In sys_user list view, switch to Mobile view.
Check the list of columns present. If User ID is missing, the impersonation dialog won't show its value (by design).
Note that for List layout in Mobile view, the order of the Name and User ID columns is not important.
Also, if you remove Name from the list layout, the impersonation dialog still renders Full Name (default regardless) and User ID.
