How to control the order of Knowledge Base display on Service Portal

Procedure


1. Clone "KB Category Page" widget.
 
2. Update Body HTML template.
 
3. Add "orderBy : '-published'" parameter in line 11 of the cloned "KB Category Page" widget:
<div role="listitem" ng-repeat="kb_article in data.items| orderBy : '-published'" class="sp-kb-topic-article m-b-lg">
 
Note: Adding + or - prefix on orderBy parameter will order by + (ascending) or -(desc);
 
4. Save the change.
 
5. Open the Service Portal page designer:
<Your instance> /$spd.do#/sp/editor/kb_category/b6f5c370d7000200a9ad1e173e24d498
 
6. Remove the OOB "KB Category Page" widget from the page.
 
7. Drag and drop the cloned  "KB Category Page" widget to the page.
