Navigation to Knowledge UI including home page or article view page can take in excess of 5 seconds when the instance contains a large number of user criteria.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Populate the instance with a large amount of KB articles.
    2. Add user criteria linked to the created articles.
    3. Navigate to the /kb page.

Notice the amount of time taken to load the knowledge homepage. Note that the issue may reproduce on other portals as well.


Add the following database indexes for the following columns in kb_knowledge table
- cannot_read_user_criteria
- can_read_user_criteria
- sys_class_name, kb_knowledge_base
