Description


The portal's Knowledge page  "/kb_view2"  will return an empty page if no knowledge base is associated with the Service Portal. 

Additionally, when you search for articles none will be available.

Procedure


In order to associate a knowledge base to a service portal :

  1. Navigate to Service Portal > Portals.
  2. Click on the Portal record.
  3. Locate the Knowledge base field.
  4. Populate it with an active knowledge base.
  5. Save

Additional Information


You can attach only one Knowledge Base per portal.

In order to associate multiple knowledge bases on a single portal, you may use "Knowledge Management - Service Portal" [com.snc.knowledge_serviceportal] which has this functionality.
