When accessing the HR properties page as an admin or delegated developer user (any user that can see the application picker), you are prompted to switch your scope to edit the page (either to Global or Human Resources: Core).
Upon switching, the message persists, but tells you the record is in the scope you just changed from (either to Global or Human Resources: Core) due to the fact that both Global and HR scope properties are in the Human Resources category and the page is not designed to support multiple scopes.
The only global property in the Human Resources Category out of box is com.snc.signaturepad.retrieveSignature.
Steps to Reproduce
Ensure that the Human Resources: Core plugin is enabled.
Log in as Admin.
Change the current application to "Global".
Navigate to HR Administration > Properties.
Note the message "This record is in the Human Resources: Core application, but Global is the current application. To edit this record click here."
Change the current application to Human Resources: Core.
Note the message "This record is in the Global application, but Human Resources: Core is the current application. To edit this record click here."
Remove the global signature property association from HR.
- Navigate to System Properties > Categories.
- Search for the Human Resources category and open the record.
- Click the Edit button on the Properties related list.
- In the slushbucket remove com.snc.signaturepad.retrieveSignature.
- Click Save.
