When clicking the Template reference lookup icon while in a notification record the desired template is not shown on the list of available templates.
This issue is most commonly caused by the table field value of the notification not being the same as the table field value of the email template record. There is a reference qualifier on the Template reference field of notification records that only shows templates where the Table field value is empty, global or set to a value that matches the Table field value of the notification record (i.e. "incident).
You can enable your email template to show up on the reference lookup for the template field of notification records by taking one of the following actions:
- Update the Table field value of the email template record to be empty
- Update the Table field value of the email template record to be global
- Update the Table field value of the notification record to match the Table field value of your email template record.
