When there are active articles in a Knowledge Base in different languages than the instance default language, and the system property "glide.knowman.enable_multi_language_search" is set to true (see Knowledge Properties), the total article count will not compute the articles in the secondary languages activated in the instance. The count shown on the main $ page will not correspond with the amount of articles seen when clicking into the KB.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have a Knowledge Base with articles in different languages.
  2. Set the property "glide.knowman.enable_multi_language_search" to true.
  3. Load the main $ page.

Observe the number of articles shown under the Knowledge Base name does not correspond with the number of articles shown when accessing the Knowledge Base itself.




After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
