Issue

Overview


Sometimes you might need to provide access to Password Reset Enrollment or Password process for the snc_external rolled user who do not have access to these processes by default.

By default, users with the snc_external role are unable to access non-record type resources as well, such as processors and UI pages. Users with these roles are generally external to your organization and should not have any access to resources unless explicitly allowed through ACLs for the snc_external role or additional roles. This means that these users will not have access to the password reset pages and requests.

Procedure


To grant access, add a new ACL for the required UI page and provide required roles in it, such as snc_external in this case. 

 

The following URL provides sample OOB ACL to refer to on $pwd_change:
