The Assignment Group is not saved in service_task for new records.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Type in the filter navigator.

  2. Set Assignment Group to "change management".

  3. Set Assigned to as "change manager".

  4. Right-click in the form header and choose Save.

    Note that the Assignment group and Assigned to value are not saved.

  1. Open the workflow editor in a global scope.

  2. Navigate to Workflow > Workflow Editor.

  3. Open the workflow "Service Task Processing" workflow.

  4. In the title bar, click the menu icon and select Checkout.

  5. Click on the Run Script "Assign to User and Group". Update the script as follows:

    Existing code:

    current.assignment_group = workflow.scratchpad.assignment_group.value;
    current.assigned_to = workflow.scratchpad.assigned_to.value;

    New code:

    current.assignment_group = workflow.scratchpad.assignment_group.value;
    current.assigned_to = workflow.scratchpad.assigned_to.value;
  6. After you have finished editing the workflow, validate and publish the workflow to make the new version available to other users.
