After activating the Knowledge Management Advanced plugin, tags added to an article do not get copied over to the new version of the article.
Steps to Reproduce
Activate the Knowledge Management Advanced plugin.
Navigate to Knowledge > Create New.
Create a new article and add a tag to it.
Publish the article.
Re-open the same article.
Click the Checkout button.
Return to the Knowledge Management page and check the old tag that you added.
Note that the article does not exist in that tag, as the tag was removed when checking out the new version in step 6.
