Description

Resource Plan State changes from Requested to Allocated even if the allocations in the resource plan have "Soft" booking type and even if it throws an error.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Resource Plan for the user for 1 week with Planned hours = 40
  2. Click Request
  3. Resource Allocation is created at the bottom with Booking type = "Soft"
  4. Click Allocate
  5. Resource Allocation at the bottom are updated with Booking type = "Hard"
  6. Resource Plan State changes from Requested to Allocated

Until here everything is working as expected.

  1. Now Create another Resource Plan for the same user for same 1 week with Planned hours = 40
  2. Click Request
  3. Resource Allocation is created at the bottom with Booking type = "Soft"
  4. Click Allocate
  5. Resource Allocation at the bottom is not updated and Booking type = "Soft".
  6. Now you will receive an Error message:
    • "User xxxxxxxxx could not be allocated for the period 2016-05-09 - 2016-05-15 as the user is not available for one or more days in the period".
This message is correct and working as expected.

Result:  Resource Plan State changes from Requested to Allocated even if the  allocations in the resource plan has "Soft" booking type.
